Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 August 2026
Welcome to Sweet Mouthful Mixes. These Terms & Conditions apply when you use sweetmouthfulmixes.com or place an order with us.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Cancellation Policy and any other policies displayed on our website.
1. About Us
Sweet Mouthful Mixes operates the website sweetmouthfulmixes.com.
If you have any questions about an order or these Terms & Conditions, please contact us at:
Email: info@sweetmouthfulmixes.com
2. Products and Availability
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, prices, images and stock information are accurate. However, occasional errors, changes or stock shortages may occur.
Product images are for illustration purposes. Colours, packaging and appearance may vary slightly depending on stock availability, product batches and the device used to view the website.
All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, withdraw products or correct errors where necessary.
3. Product Substitutions
Occasionally, a sweet may become unavailable after an order has been placed.
Where appropriate, we may substitute an unavailable product with:
-
a similar product;
-
a product you have previously ordered; or
-
an alternative of equal or greater value.
We will make reasonable efforts to select suitable alternatives. If you have allergies, dietary requirements or products that you do not wish to receive as substitutes, please provide this information when placing your order.
If more than five sweets are unavailable from a single bucket order, we will normally contact you before making substitutions.
If a suitable alternative cannot be provided, we may offer a refund for the unavailable item or affected part of the order.
4. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
Customers are responsible for checking product information and ensuring that products are suitable for their individual dietary requirements.
If you have an allergy, intolerance or specific dietary requirement, please contact us before placing an order. Although we take reasonable care when preparing orders, products may be handled in environments where allergens are present.
We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens unless this is expressly confirmed in writing.
5. Prices and Payments
All prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Delivery charges will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or product errors. If an error affects your order, we will contact you before processing it where reasonably possible.
Payment must be received before an order is prepared or dispatched.
6. Order Acceptance
After placing an order, you will normally receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted.
We may need to cancel or refuse an order where:
-
a product is unavailable;
-
there is a pricing or website error;
-
payment cannot be authorised;
-
the order appears to be fraudulent or unauthorised;
-
incorrect information has been provided; or
-
we are unable to fulfil the order for another reasonable reason.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide an appropriate refund.
7. Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@sweetmouthfulmixes.com.
We begin preparing many orders shortly after they are placed. We will make reasonable efforts to cancel an order where preparation or fulfilment has not yet begun. However, once an order has been prepared, packed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible due to the nature of our products and the speed of our fulfilment process.
Any statutory cancellation rights that apply to your order are not affected by these Terms.
8. Returns, Refunds and Personal Preference
Due to the nature of our food products, we are generally unable to accept returns once an order has been dispatched or delivered.
We do not normally offer refunds because a customer dislikes the taste, flavour, texture, colour or personal preference of a product.
If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, unsafe, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement, partial refund, full refund or another suitable remedy.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
9. Heat-Sensitive Products
Some products, including chocolate, fudge and other heat-sensitive confectionery, may soften or melt during warm weather.
We take reasonable care when packaging products. However, customers should be aware that high temperatures during transport may affect heat-sensitive items.
If a product arrives in an unsuitable condition, please contact us promptly with photographs so that we can review the circumstances and provide an appropriate resolution where applicable.
10. Delivery and Dispatch
We aim to dispatch orders within the times shown on our website. Dispatch and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Current delivery services and charges are displayed at checkout.
Delivery times may be affected by factors outside our control, including:
-
courier delays;
-
severe weather;
-
customs processing;
-
transport disruption;
-
high seasonal demand; or
-
other unforeseen circumstances.
A delivery delay does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund. However, this does not affect any legal rights that may apply.
If you request that your order is packed or featured on social media, additional preparation time may be required.
11. Delivery Addresses
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact information provided at checkout are complete and accurate.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays, failed deliveries or orders delivered to an incorrect address where the address supplied by the customer was incorrect or incomplete.
If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, a redelivery charge may apply. We will contact you before arranging redelivery.
We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.
12. Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows that an order has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check with other household members, neighbours and any nominated safe place.
Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist with the relevant delivery enquiry. We may also ask you to contact the courier directly where this is necessary.
13. International Orders
International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, import charges and local requirements.
If an international order is refused, not collected or returned because customs requirements have not been completed, we may deduct reasonable return shipping, customs, duties or handling costs from any refund where permitted by law.
If you request that a returned order is sent again, you will be responsible for any applicable reshipment, return shipping, customs and handling charges.
14. Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used in accordance with any expiry dates or conditions displayed at the time of purchase.
15. Subscriptions
Where subscription services are available, you can manage or cancel your subscription through your customer account, subscription portal or the subscription management link provided in your confirmation email.
To avoid a recurring charge, cancellations should be made before the next billing date.
If a subscription order has already been prepared or dispatched, cancellation may not prevent that order from being fulfilled. Your statutory rights are not affected.

-

We will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
